Why do prices go up and down?
A share's price is simply the last price a buyer and seller
agreed on. When more people want to buy than sell, the price rises. When more want to sell, it falls.
People's wish to buy/sell changes with news, company results, the economy, and plain emotion (fear and greed).
If 10 kids want the same cricket card and only 1 kid is selling, the price goes up.
If everyone wants to get rid of the card, the price drops. That's the whole stock market.
